End of Season Tournament

Well, the Cy Fair folks finally got organized enough to put together a tournament this weekend. The Vipers ended up getting a bye for the first round due to their undefeated record this past season. So, they ended up playing just one game this afternoon.

The game was a real nail biter. They started out slow and were down 0 - 1 at the half. Apparently they found the possibility of potentially losing a game to be a bit motivating, and came back to win the game 3 - 1. We are particularly proud of Duncan's performance in this game, as he scored the first two of their goals to get them back on top. Think he's competitive much?

There is discussion of the team moving onto some kind of division playoff in a couple of weeks. We're not really sure what that means, truthfully. Suffice it to say, the Cy Fair folks have an "opportunity for improvement" with respect to their communication skills.

Regardless, Duncan will likely not play any more this season. He's scheduled to get his tonsils out in a couple of weeks and won't be in any shape to play. We look forward to following the team's progress if they do end up playing any more. It's been a fun ride.
