Happy 4th of July!
Here are a few pictures from the Steiner Ranch 4th of July Parade this morning. Having been out of town in Hunt for the last 10 or so years on the 4th, we haven't done a parade in ages. Stuart and Ella Peyton have never done one. So, since we're home this week, we thought we'd give it a go.
I think the kids really enjoyed it. We participated in the parade and some of the activities afterwards - ice cream, popcorn, playground, etc. There was a lot more to take advantage of - bounce house, face painting and so on, but frankly it got so hot, we gave up and headed home for lunch.
It was definitely worth doing though. If we're ever in town again for the 4th, we'll likely do it again!
