We made it into the new house last Friday. The move itself was relatively smooth (save an issue with an electrical connection and plumbing incident at the Pebble Springs house). All of our stuff seems to have made it in one piece and we were able to get both kids in made beds by the end of the evening - which believe me, was no small task.
We've had some help over the weekend and today with fixing up the joint a little. We had some lights added into the living room and kitchen, and the painters came in full force today. The painting should be done tomorrow and then carpet comes on Wednesday. It's all a lot more action than we're accustomed to and it will be nice when we finally get the joint to ourselves for a bit. There will still be more projects we'll want to tackle over time, but the several of biggies will soon be out of the way.
Shouldn't be too long before we'll be in a position to start receiving guests! :)
