Duncan and Jeffrey left to take Duncan to camp (Rio Vista) today. Duncan was so excited he could hardly stand it. They're going to spend the night in San Antonio and plan to be at camp when the gates open on Sunday at noon. If you'd like to write him a note, I'm sure he'd love to hear from you. If you want to send something to him via snail mail, the address is Duncan Scott, Fort 1, Rio Vista, 175 Rio Vista Rd., Ingram, TX 78025. The camp asks that we not send candy, gum, food, money or water balloons. There's also an option to send him email and pictures via Bunk Notes. It's not a free service, but the perk is that he gets your email the very next day at mail call. If you decide to use Bunk Notes, please make sure to "send" stationary to him so he can write you back. It will come in the form of a PDF to your email inbox.
What an adventure this little guy is about to have and boy will we miss him. I can't wait to get his first letter home to see what he's up to!

Oh bummer! How did I miss this post while Duncan was at camp? I wish I'd sent him some bunknotes! Maybe next year? Sorry, Dunc.
