The eagle has landed


After MUCH anticipation, Duncan has finally made it to camp. We pulled up in front of camp just in time to hear the bugle play, which signifies the opening of the gates. He was so excited he could hardly stand it.

He is in Fort 1 again this term, which I'm told is almost completely full of 8-year-olds (with a few 9-year-olds sprinkled in). The main counselor in his cabin is named Danny, who hails from Denton. Duncan is sleeping in the bunk right next to Danny, which will actually be a good thing since Danny has a huge fan that blows air akin to a small wind storm.
