We took the kids to the zoo this morning. Our thinking was that sure, it's July in Houston, but at least in the morning, the heat ought to be tolerable. Yeah, not so much. Even the animals were all sacked out from the heat.
Despite the heat, the kids enjoyed seeing the animals, and it was especially fun to see Stuart's reaction to all of the animals. This was the first time he'd been when he could actually sort of process what he was seeing. We're going to have to go back when the temp drops about 20 - 30 degrees and we can spend some real time there.
