Car Wreck

Anne and Dad are doing better today after having been in a car wreck yesterday. They were T-boned in a Dad's car yesterday by woman driving a taco truck (who had neither insurance nor a driver's license). She ran a stop sign - didn't even slow down - and ran right into them.

After being taken to Brackenridge, Anne got checked out and was sent home yesterday w/some quality drugs to help w/the headache and whiplash. They kept Dad overnight as he had some internal bleeding around his right kidney. He seems to be doing just fine today and last I spoke w/Mom and Dad, they were waiting for the green light to get checked out. It sounds like Anne and Dad will both probably be sore for a few more days.

We're extremely thankful that they both came out of the whole ordeal with the "limited" injuries they did. It certainly could have been a lot worse. It's probably not all that often that a taco truck takes on a sedan and the passengers in the sedan make it out ok.
