Learning to ride the tricycle

I took the kids outside this afternoon to let them play before dinner. Duncan wanted to ride his bike and of course when Ella saw him get it, she insisted on getting her "bike" too. It didn't sound like much fun to me (since I typically end up getting more of a workout pushing her than she does actually making it go anywhere), but she was insistant, so out it came. Much to my surprise, right after she crawled up on it, she took off as if she'd been riding it on her own for months. It was awesome! She was so proud - or should I say I was? She's getting so big...
