Family Pictures

We recently asked Kaoni to come take this year's family pictures at Bayou Bend. And I kind of laugh when I say "this year's" pictures since we really do seem to have fallen into an annual pattern with these. Having them done is admittedly a little self-indulgent on my part, but as the kids get older, I'm realizing more and more that they really do grow so quickly. Every stage of their lives is so precious and I feel like this is just about as close as we can get to "bottling them up". I hope that one day when they get older, they'll enjoy looking back and seeing these photos of their younger selves as much as Jeffrey and I do now.
