We realized this evening that Christmas Day is just a little over a week away and we still hadn't made our annual drive over to Prestonwood to check out the Christmas lights. For anyone who has ever visited us during the month of December before, yes, this is the neighborhood we took you to as well. :)They did a great job again this year and we even had to circle the block (and park) a couple of times to watch the house whose lights flash in synch with music that they broadcast over the radio. Seriously. It's actually really cool. We're consistently amazed that the light show they put on doesn't cause a neighborhood-wide power outage of some kind.
What was also fun, was that new at that house this year, was a TV screen of some kind filling one of the upstairs windows. On that TV screen was a video of Santa checking his list and bringing a bag of toys. Ella was beside herself. She wanted to know if she could go see him and would he later come to our house. It was really cute. Little does she know he's coming to her school on Friday. I can't wait to see her face!
