Disney World

We just got back from an AWESOME and exhausting trip to Disney World.

We hit the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Most days, we were at the parks right when they opened, which proved to be a pretty good strategy. At that point in the day, we could run around and pretty much get on any ride we wanted without a wait. By 11 or so each day, the parks became packed, which was probably just as well. With the record heat they were having, we ended up retreating to the hotel in the afternoons to rest and then go back out in the evenings.

The kids had a great time with all of the rides, meeting the characters, and watching parades. Some of the highlights included Ella meeting Cinderella, Duncan attending Jedi training school and an evacuation, yes evacuation, off the Thunder Mountain rollercoaster.
