Today officially marks one year since we put our old house on the market. In some ways it feels like it's been every minute of that year and in others, it feels like it was only yesterday.
Over the past year, the kids have hit several milestones...
Duncan started first grade at a new school and has made a whole new set of friends. He runs around the cul-de-sac with his fellow partners in crime as if they've been together for years. He's also lost 6 more teeth and grown several inches.
Ella has gone from a crib to a big-girl bed, and no longer wears diapers. She's also congizant enough of the big picture now to know that she will some day get to ride the bus too, just like her big brother.
Jeffrey and I are enjoying the neighborhood here quite a bit as well, especially being around so many families with kids the same ages as our own. We're very fortunate with the neighbors we've inherited. In terms of any physical changes for us, well, I don't think a big bunch of new gray hairs is anything to do cartwheels about.
Overall, it's been a great year full of a lot of activity and change. I can't wait to see what next year holds...
