And so it has begun

Duncan blurted out the other morning that there was no such thing as the Easter Bunny. Both Jeffrey and I quickly told him to "shhhhhh!" since Ella was sitting right across from him.

When we were alone, Duncan later went onto explain to me yesterday that he knew there was no Easter Bunny because the whole thing didn't make sense. There was no way a bunny could carry things to people's houses, because rabbits don't have hands. Damn the logic.

Trying to salvage any bit of childhood innocence I could on the topic , I then responded that the Easter Bunny was magic. He proceeded to roll his eyes and say "Mom, there is no such thing as magic, except for Santa Claus".

I suppose all is not lost....yet.
