He was a witty, sassy, intelligent and compassionate man who showed phenominal love for his family. He enjoyed music, teaching, gardening, cooking and spending time with his friends and loved ones.
I will always remember one of his favorite quotes that hung on the wall in his piano studio from The Merchant of Venice:
"The man that hath no music in himself,
Nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds,
Is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils;
The motions of his spirit are dull as night,
And his affections dark as Erebus.
Let no such man be trusted."
I loved him dearly and will miss him for a thousand and one reasons, only a hundred of which I have discovered so far. None of us was ready for Dad to leave, but unfortunately as Dad would say, "Nobody asked us". And while he left this earth prematurely, it was more than evident that he lead a fulfilling and rewarding life, and was extremely loved.

I'm sorry that his passing happened in such a shocking way.
Your writing was beautiful and I can tell that his music still plays in you.
Thank you for putting this out there. I love everything you said. To say we will miss him is an incredible understatement.God how lucky are we to have had him for as long as we did. He will live on in us and in your kids forever. He sure did give me the best sister in the world and I thank him for that.
