The Sea Dogs finished up their season this weekend with a tournament, winning one game and losing two.
Duncan had a great season ending up top of the heap in terms of batting for the team. He wasn't a huge home run hitter, but would consistently get himself on base and set his team up to score. His fielding improved this year too, with his final play in the last game being a double play while playing third - he caught a pop fly and tagged a runner out at 3rd.
While I understand that Duncan doesn't want to play again next year, I'm also kind of frustrated by it. He's a bit of a natural at this game and could be really good if he invested some time getting himself to the next level.
Oh well, adjusting my attitude.... on the bright side, he will have an opportunity next spring to try something new. It never hurts to take on another challenge. :)
