Now that we are officially moved in and have cleared a path through all of the boxes to and through the vital rooms, we decided to take a little time to enjoy the local events.
The kids school, River Ridge Elementary, hosted its annual fall fundraiser - Rattlerfest. The PTA did a fabulous job. There were upwards of a dozen bounce houses, a petting zoo, face painting, bungee jumping and more. We were there for almost the entire time and were only able to make through barely half of what there was to do.
The kids had a wonderful time. It was definitely a great way to kick off life in their new school!
