Wanting to check out a Trail of Lights display but wanting to avoid the hoards of people that go to the Austin one, we ventured to a couple of different displays this year - the Lakeway one and the Marble Falls one.
The Lakeway Trail of Lights was small, but nice in terms of what they had. It was also within spitting distance from the house, which made it phenomenally accessible. There weren't many people there which was a huge plus as well.
The Marble Falls Walkway of Lights was awesome and a lot bigger than we expected. It was maybe a 45 min drive from the house, but well worth the trip. There were more people there, but not in an overly chaotic way. The kids really enjoyed it as did we. It will likely be on the repeat list for next year!
