Space Center Houston

Duncan bounced out of bed this morning with excitement about the field trip he was going to go on with the Camp Runamuck folks today. They're taking the kids to Space Center Houston. Duncan has been looking forward to this field trip all summer. The Y camp has taken the kids on a number of other field trips like the Houston Zoo, Moody Gardens, and the Oil Ranch to name a few. But, this field trip is the mother of them all since they now have.... drumroll please... a Star Wars exhibit there! I think the exhibit is in part related to the hype around the Clone Wars movie coming out soon, which of course Duncan wants to see too.

I can't wait for him to get home today to tell us all about it!

Update on the field trip: When Duncan first got in the car today the conversation went as follows:

(No "Hi Mom" or "how are you")

Duncan: Mom, you'll never guess what I saw today!

Me: What?
Duncan: I saw saw two pretend clone troopers!

Me: Really?!?!

Duncan: Yeah! And you know what else?

Me: What?

Duncan: One of them shot me! Isn't that cool?!?!
