Duncan's tonsils are officially long gone. He was every bit the model patient this morning. I think the doctors and nurses were actually a little surprised by how well he behaved. I suspect they are more used to kids crying and being generally unsettled throughout the process.His throat is a bit more sore than he'd expected it to be, so as we anticipated, it hasn't turned out to be all rainbows and sunshine on the other end of the procedure. But, Duncan has been quite the trooper so far. Time to break out the popsicles and ice cream!

awwww. How are things going today? What is Duncan's favorite new flavor of ice cream? :)
He's doing ok. He spent most of the day on the couch chilling out. If he continues to do pretty well, I may send him off to school in a day or two. We'll see.
And he's gotten to be quite the expert in popsicles. It's pretty funny. He hasn't been as into ice cream as I thought he would, although he's had his fair share. He's really stuck mostly to popsicles. :)
Still thinking about you guys. Is D back to his old self?
Not quite yet. He's got a pretty positive attitude and asking for tylenol a little bit less frequently, but is still working the really soft food.
I'm hoping in a week from now, he's back to his old self. He's getting super skinny!
