In Ella Peyton's kindergarten class, each child is given a turn to be "Sailor of the Week". Essentially, this means that they get run through an All About Me type exercise, with various activities happening during the week that they either lead or are a central part of.
To cap off Ella Peyton's turn as sailor of the week this week, she got to have a Mystery Reader come and read to the class today. She was THRILLED to be surprised by her Aunt Annie, who came to read both The Boy Who Loves Bananas as well as Alexander and the Wind-Up Mouse. Ella Peyton and her class really enjoyed hearing both books.
