Ella Peyton's Quest class at River Ridge has been researching endangered species. As part of their project, each student chose and researched a specific endangered animal and reported out on it. Ella Peyton chose tigers.
Dressed as an explorer (and yes, that is a homemade costume: vest = paper grocery sack and binoculars = recycled TP rolls), Ella Peyton presented to her class yesterday. She did a marvelous job identifying where they live, what they eat and what could be done to help prevent their extinction.
Class skit prior to Ella Peyton's presentation where the moral of the story was to not cut down trees in areas where endangered animals live.
