If you'll recall, we began our garden back in March. To date, we're having some good luck with the tomatoes, corn, potatoes, carrots and onions. Dragging up the rear are the okra, peas, cucumbers, sunflowers, green peppers and watermelons. We're hoping that some of those are just slower to grow, but we will see. With this being our first year to attempt to grow anything, we're learning as we go.
We just got this sign in this week and are so excited to finally get it! It was made by a friend of mine from high school -Kim Parr (now Greenock) - who also has her own store on Etsy called The Painted Child. She's always been very creative and we're so happy to have benefitted from her creativity! :)
Each of the kids got to choose a vegetable to try to grow. The corn is Duncan's pick.
Stuart was so excited to find this reddening tomato waaaaaaaaay in there.
