While the other kids are off doing different things during the summer, life for Stuart is essentially the same. He continues to go to School in the Hills with many of the other friends he attends class with during the school year.
That said, School in the Hills does a nice job of changing things up a bit during the summer, to lighten the atmosphere some and make it a bit more entertaining for the kids.
His classroom teachers recently sent us these pictures of Stu during various activities and I thought I would share. Looks like he's having a pretty good time. :)
Stuart's class studied both fairy tales and fables this summer. Above are pictures of Stu with a couple of his classmates, dressed as the little pigs and the big bad wolf.
During the summer, the school also takes the kids on field trips once/month. The latest field trip was to The Long Center to see Funny Bunny. Above is a picture of Stu and one of his classmates on their way to the show.
Stuart investigating the rollie pollie farm that Mr. Chris (his new lead teacher) has brought to the classroom. Apparently Snakey the snake will be moving in in a couple of weeks as well. Can't wait to see how he reacts to that. Ick!
