Well, we finally bit the bullet and got another pup. On July 26th, Evelyn (or Evie) came home with us from Austin Pets Alive (APA). She's 3 months old and super sweet. She had been on "the list" of pups to euthanize when she first arrived at the pound because she and her sibs had parvo . The folks at APA got them off the list by taking custody of them and we're happy to say that they all survived and are doing well.
Evelyn is at this point in good health and is waiting to get spayed on Thursday. As soon as that's happened, she will officially be ours. We're looking forward to that day coming and going so she will be over the hump in terms of any medical issues/procedures and able to officially and permanently settle comfortably at our home!
