This year we decided to try a new pumpkin patch - Barton Hill Farms. We had heard several people talking about going to Sweet Berry Farms (where we went with the kids last year) and rather than compete with the crowd, we thought we'd try something different.
And, we're glad we did. Barton Hill Farms is probably the same distance away from where we live as Sweet Berry Farms is, but with maybe 1/3 of the people. They had a ton of stuff for the kids to do - play in a fort, brave the Willie Nelson-themed corn maze, face paint, some jumping thing and more.
The kids had a great time and with the crowds at a relative minimum (and hopefully it will stay that way), we'll likely give it a go again next year.
