On the last Saturday of the holiday break, Duncan's soccer team participated in a 3v3 tournament in Lakeway. They split up into 2 teams and competed against 2 other teams (so there were 4 participating total). The teams were somewhat bizarrely split - the coach put the goalie and all of the defenders on one team and then all of the forwards on another. As you can guess, the team of all forwards won the tournament for their category and the team of defenders came in last (yes, that was Duncan's team). I will say though, that despite coming in last, they played really well and didn't lose by much in any of their games. It was the first time Duncan personally had played 3v3, so it was a great learning experience for him.
