The kids and I took advantage of the time off for a quickie day trip down to San Antonio to visit Katie (who was in town visiting family during the holidays) and her son John.
It was great to see them and take in a few of the local sites. We blazed through the Alamo but got to spend a bit more time riding a boat around the riverwalk. It was a lot of fun - we hope to get to go back and do it again soon!
