All good things must come to an end

Well, we're home again.

We got back from Hunt late this afternoon and I think it's safe to say that we're all thoroughly worn out (but in a good way).

We enjoyed seeing all of the family that came to through to visit and we took full advantage of all that the river had to offer. There was a lot of fishing, swimming and kayaking. I was particularly impressed with my dad, who kayaked the Guadalupe River for the first time at the tender age of 70. I hope I'm able to do the same when I'm that age!

We also were treated to fireworks for 3 evenings in a row - we got so spoiled! The fireworks were great each evening. I can't imagine we'll be able to top that next year!

And while we know that all good things must come to an end, we can take consolation in the fact that time flies, and next year is not that far away. In fact, we've already started plotting dates for our return. :)
