Christmas in July?

I went upstairs to pick up the playroom this afternoon, ran across Duncan's handiwork and couldn't help but get a picture of it.

And I should preface the following by relaying that we've been trying to get better about not buying the kids (especially Duncan) new toys every time they get the itch. It's hard, because it seems like Duncan in particular always has "the wants", but we're trying really hard to keep new toys tied to specific occassions (birthdays, Christmas, etc. and with the exception of bribery, of course), rather than the desire of the week.

So on that note, apparently Duncan is already getting ready for Christmas (the next sanctioned occasion). Check out the Christmas list he's started below. That's our kid... always thinking ahead!
