It's a sad day at our house today. After a day or two of being under the weather, I took Lydia to the vet this morning to find out that she had leukemia, which is completely untreatable. We were told the most we could have done for her was a blood transfusion and that would have only bought her another week or so. So, with no other choice, we had Lydia put to sleep.
The whole thing really caught us by surprise. We never would have guessed that we'd lose such a sweet cat at such a young age. We will definitely miss her.
