Tubes

Stu had surgery this morning to get tubes put in his ears. He did very well.

The anesthesia has mostly worn off and he's thrown us a few smiles, so all is right with the world again.

While the procedure itself is not what I would describe as a good time, we're very thankful he's had this done. Both Ella and Duncan had tubes put in when they were around the same age, and the tubes made a world of difference for them.

If Stu's results are anywhere close to the same, he will now be able to go well beyond his current standard of 3 - 4 weeks between ear infections. How nice that will be!
