We celebrated Ella Peyton's 8th birthday with friends yesterday. She had asked about having a baking party this year and so that we could incorporate a Valentine's Day theme, we held it a few days early.
She had a few of her friends come over and make a variety of treats - chocolate covered strawberries, rice krispie treat pops, and sugar cookies.
The girls seemed to have a great time... a little cooking... a little playing... a little cooking... a little playing. It was a relatively relaxed afternoon (as far as those things go) and even Stu got in on it - in fact I think he may have been more front and center.
Nine more days and we will have a full-fledged 8-year-old on our hands!
